1. Q. What is the difference between RAMCHECK and the RAMCHECK LX?
   A. The RAMCHECK LX is our latest tester and features a much brighter, much larger, more vivid display than the older RAMCHECK. RAMCHECK LX also features USB connectivity and is faster than the RAMCHECK. Otherwise the test flow is identical.
   
   
2. Q. Why should I upgrade my RAMCHECK to RAMCHECK LX?

4. Q. How can I get a quote for the RAMCHECK LX and adapters?

5. Q. What is the warranty?
   A. New RAMCHECK LX products come with a limited 1-year warranty that covers internal defects of the equipment, but does not cover the external sockets, which are subject to user wear and tear. Complete warranty information is available here.
   
   
6. Q. Can INNOVENTIONS guarantee that the tests performed by the RAMCHECK LX are 100% accurate?
   A. No memory tester, including those that cost $500,000 or more, cannot achieve exhaustive tests due to the virtually unlimited possibilities of data combinations which may be stored within a memory device. Of course we continuously strrive to improve RAMCHECK LX test algorithms, but we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy of the test results.
   
   
7. Q. What is the life expectancy of the sockets provided with the RAMCHECK LX test equipment?
   A. The rugged sockets we use on the adapter heads are rated for over 10,000 insertion/removal cycles during their lifetime. With proper care, they will last even longer. Most test sockets are not soldered to the board, so they are simple to replace if they wear out. The low-cost converters for DDR and DDR2 SODIMM use motherboard sockets and are not rated. We sell inexpensive replacements as they wear out.
   
   
8. Q. Can a SIMCHECK II PLUS be upgraded to the RAMCHECK LX level?
   A. Sorry, no. There is no upgrade path. However, please contact us for trade-in options.
   
   
9. Q. Is the RAMCHECK LX upgradeable for future memory devices?
   A. Absolutely. Our products have always been geared for upgradability, and RAMCHECK LX is no different. Future DDR3 test adapters will work with the RAMCHECK LX.
   
   
10. Q. Where is RAMCHECK LX manufactured? What is your expertise in memory testing?
    A. RAMCHECK LX is designed and manufactured by INNOVENTIONS, Inc. in Houston, Texas, USA. We pioneered the field of portable memory testers in 1987 with the introduction of the world's first stand alone DRAM chip tester. Since then, we have developed several generations of advanced memory testers, of which thousands have been sold around the world.
