RAMCHECK Memory Tester Supports SO-DIMM
Memory Modules
Houston, Texas - May 15, 2001 --
INNOVENTIONS, Inc. of Houston, Texas announces support for 144-pin
SDRAM/EDO/FPM SO DIMM modules on its new RAMCHECK memory tester.
This latest addition to the RAMCHECK
line of products provides the user with needed support of the popular 144-pin
Small Outline DIMMs found in laptop computers including PC133/PC100 modules.
This new adapter is easily plugged into the RAMCHECK base tester where it is
automatically recognized.
Stand-alone, portable, and
user-friendly, the RAMCHECK redefines the capabilities of an affordable
hand-held memory tester. Its state-of-the-art 184MHz test engine and scalable
data interface provide faster tests and sub-nanosecond timing measurements
never before offered in a portable tester. Its 184MHz test engine translates to
368MHz for DDR support! The new RAMCHECK architecture has been optimized to
better support the high-speed memory modules of today and equipped to handle
those of tomorrow.
This advanced product is intended for
computer resellers, memory manufacturers, service centers, and other
environments where the need to quickly test memory integrity and quality is
essential.
RAMCHECK includes a quality 168-pin
test socket for testing PC133/100/66 and EDO/FPM DIMMs. Both RAMCHECK and the
RAMCHECK DIMMCHECK 144 are shipping right now. Other optional adapters are
available or are in final design stages to support a variety of memory devices,
including SIMMs, SOJ and TSOP CHIPs and DDR modules.
INNOVENTIONS pioneered the field of
portable memory testers in 1987, when it introduced the world's first DRAM chip
tester. Since then, the company has developed the SIMCHECK memory tester in
1990, and the current SIMCHECK II LT PLUS product line.
